From October 18 to November 4, one of KMMs most popular experts, Bud Bilanich, (author of the CareerSuperStar.com and CommonSenseGuy.com) is having a contest, “Use Your Common Sense Day” at his blog CareerSuperStar.

Send Bud “examples of where you’ve seen common sense in action – or better yet, where you’ve used you’re common sense with good results,” by email, bud@BudBilanich.com, or by submitting a comment on this post at CareerSuperStar to be entered.

Bud and his wife will choose the top examples and the 3 winners will be announced at the Know More Media booth at the Blogsworld Expo on November 4. You Will Rogers enthusiasts may know November 4 as the birthday of the late American comedian, social commentator, cowboy, et al, who commented, “Common sense ain’t all that common.”

Well, Bud disagrees with Will. He says “I have found that a lot of people don't use their common sense – because it's too much work, or it's too difficult emotionally, or it's too time consuming, or for any number of reasons.”

The winners each get one hour of Bud’s coaching time while every entrant will receive two of his e-books.

I must admit that I’m guilty of not putting common sense into action for some of those reasons, and more than a few times. Of course, I won’t be using any of those as examples, well not unless there’s an honorable mention award for cheeky disregard of the contest rules.
