Though targeted at the Washington, D.C. area, I thought this article from the Washington Post business page brought up universal issues and was nationally relevant.

Koreans and Latinos in the D.C. area are almost invariably forced to work together, with the Asian group owning about 10,000 businesses in the region and Latinos constituting a substantial portion of the labor pool.

This meeting of cultures has, naturally, produced some friction. Many Latino employees are relegated to menial positions, while management posts and more prestigious jobs, like cashier, are reserved for Korean workers.

Besides questions of prejudiced business policy there are also cultural differences which will require open dialogue and tolerance between the two groups if they want to ensure this mutually beneficial relationship can prosper.
