Ok, first the basics:

1. My name is Tanya A. Payne, I am 27 years old and a recent graduate of California State University Long Beach with a minor in journalism. 

2. I am a Capricorn.   

3. I am politically left leaning with a few "middle of the road" tendencies.

Now, that that's out of the way let me elaborate. To give you a more personal idea of my personality and character, I am a young, articulate Black woman with a flair for the dramatic and an opinion on everything. I tend to over-think things, which can make me slow to make a decision but very decisive once my mind's made up. Patience (or longsuffering) is one of the few fruits of the spirit I seem to have down pat. Although I generally fail, I try hard not to wear my emotions on my sleeve. Whether I am angry, happy, or hurt you will see it on my face and hear it in my tone.

I am a born orator, and as such it was natural for me to transition into writing. I am a published author, having contributed an autobiographical short story to a book published in 1999. Thoughout my university education I wrote for the student newspaper and other campus publications. Although not expert in any particular business field, per se, I am an accomplished writer and have a diverse range of experiences which allow me to speak comfortably with authority on many topics. I will always be honest, if something is not my forte I won't hesitate to admit as much.

It is my hope that you will use this blog as a digest for your daily business news, knowing my promise to be opinionated, forthright, and accurate will be ever present.
