
In comparison, its largest rival Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) has seen slow and declining sales for both search and display advertising.
The company outlined an extremely agressive program of expansion. Through deals with Adobe Systems Inc. (ADBE), eBay Inc. (EBAY), the News Corporation (NWS) (owner of MySpace), Intuit Inc. (INTU) and Viacom Inc. (VIA) all are providing new outlets for displaying ads.
Last week Google acquired YouTube for $1.65 billion although their plan's for this video-sharing Web site are still unclear.
